Frantic Amber

Frantic Amber is a female-fronted metal band with members from four different countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Japan) that delivers straightforward melodeath spiced up with clean vocals. Since the line-up was solified 2010 the band has made two tours to Russia, the latest one in September 2011, as well as a successful gig at Sweden Rock Festival 2011 which also was played in whole in the Swedish National Radio program P3 Rock Live. 

The bands debut EP «Wrath of Judgement» is digitally released worldwide and can be bought physically at ginza.se och cd.se. The music video for title track for the EP has in one year gained over a 100.000 views on youtube. For now the band is in pre-production of their second EP together with Ralph Santolla (Death, Deicide, Obituary, Iced Earth) a producer. The new EP is estimated to be released during spring 2012 together with a new music video. 

It's now official that Frantic Amber will perform at the P3 Gold 2012 Awards. The awards are on January 21th and are P3's own music prize, awarded in front of 2500 people at Lisebergshallen in Gothenburg to summarize the previous year's best Swedish music. Performing are some of last year's most acclaimed Swedish artists. The event will be broadcast in swedish national television and radio.

Группа Frantic Amber образована в 2008 году гитаристкой Мэри, которая хотела создать банду, исполняющую более брутальную музыку, в отличие от большинства «женских» метал-групп. 

В 2009 состав группы стабилизировался: 

Mary [guitar] — Швеция
Elizabeth [vocals] — Дания
Sandra [bass] — Норвегия
Mio [lead guitar] — Япония 

Таким образом, Frantic Amber, базирующаяся в Стокгольме (Швеция), может считаться интернациональной группой. 

Группа исполняет тяжелый и зубодробильный метал с женским гроулом и чистым вокалом. Имея в своем активе всего один EP «Wrath of Judgement» и одноименный видеоклип группа пользуется огромной популярностью как у себя на родине так и во всем мире, чему свидетельствует приглашение их на крупнейшие европейские фестивали Sweden Rock (2010,2011), Железные Девы (2011), а также бесчисленные концерты и множественные интервью.

В марте 2011 группа провела мощнейший тур по России вместе с Hysterica, апофеозом которого стало их аццкое выступление на фестивале «Железные Девы» в Калуге!

В сентябре 2011 группа вновь вернулась в Россию, но уже с более широкомасштабным туром.
